In particular formulation of the problem in the proposed PTK is described as follows: 1) Is the method of learning think pair share can improve the process and result of learning math class V SDN Yosowilangun Manyar District of Gresik? 2) Is the method of learning think pair share can improve the process and result of learning mathematics affective aspect or attitude class V SDN Yosowilangun Manyar District of Gresik? 3) Is the method of learning think pair share can improve the process and results of learning the mathematical aspect of psychomotor or cooperative skills class V SDN Yosowilangun Manyar District of Gresik. The subjects of this research in this PTK is a fifth grade students who will be drawn at random from the whole class V semester of the 2014/2015 academic year 1. The material taught is KD 1. Using a property that arithmetic operations. Researcher is a teacher at SDN Yasowilangun Manyar District of Gresik in the academic year 2014/2015 and the teaching of mathematics. Based on the problems, the reaserch questions that can be revealed is: how to increase learning achievement of social science on basic&nbsp; competence reading maps local neighborhood (district/city, province) using a simple scale through methods of inquiry in class 4 semester 1 SD Negeri Betoyoguci Subdistrict Manyar Gresik. This research was done in class 4 semster 1 SD Negeri Betoyoguci District of Manyar, the number of students in grade 4 were 28 people, the condition of specificity allow the student ability level and absorption of this students vary greatly. Researcher are VIII C Civic teacher at SMPN 2 Gresik, until now. Object in a class action research (PTK) is the action taken on the implementation of learning activities in the&nbsp; classroom SMPN 2 Manyar Gresik VIII.C as many as 30 students in the first semester of school year2013-2014 , research was conducted for 3 (three) months, namely began the third week of September 2013 until the first week of Desember 2013, through three cycles. In general, the study cycles through the step of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. In particular, it can be conclude as follows: 1) The mean score is experiencing an increase students understanding od cycle I to III, the first cyle of 72.7 in the second cycle of 75.62, while the third cycle of 87.5. Similarly, the completion of the study in the first cycle 45.83% in the second cycles to 62.5%, while in the third cycles to 100% 2) In the method of learning with cooperative learning model CIRC teacher must also consider the importance of classroom management.
